In case you weren’t aware, there is a trend currently about receiving e-mails about local daily deals. There are several places that send them out, but the most popular seem to be Groupon and Living Social. You sign up with your e-mail address and they send you an e-mail every day with a new daily deal in a local area (there are lots of cities to choose from). They get to offer you a heavily discounted deal, because the deal is only on if a certain number of people sign up. (They don’t charge you if enough people don’t sign up, but they almost always do.) The deals range from local restaurants, zoo/museum memberships, to the occasional online deal. Unfortunately, most of the deals are only available on that day.
The reason that I’m telling you this (and so soon after my last posting) is that I strongly suggest that you go buy the Living Social deal for today. Today’s deal for San Antonio (which you can still buy no matter where you live) is to pay $10 and get a $20 Amazon gift card. It’s getting $10 for free!
